The use of proprietary hardwood panels to provide sure footing and a uniform surface mean workers feet are fully supported while sinking and wobbling are eliminated. Employees using O’Mara Anti-Fatigue Floors instead of standard anti-fatigue mats have more energy during the day. This is due to the fact that sinking and instability are eliminated, workers are not forced to lift their foot higher than normal with each step.
Two factors of safety, include slip-resistanct urethane and seemless flooring. Our ceramic urethane has an ASTM slip-resistance coefficient of 0.7 – 0.8. Not recommended for use in areas where liquids will sit on the surface. Each panel joins together with the next with an exclusive rounded tongue and groove system. Engineered for exacting tolerances, these provide a seamless feel, eliminating a potential trip hazard. The panels combined with our transition ramps create an anti-fatigue system that flows naturally from your current surface to our sprung floor for your employees.
Shock absorption emanates from closed cell foam blocks located beneath the floor panels. Sixteen resilient blocks are attached to the underside of each 4′ x 4′ floor section. These cushioning foam blocks, in conjunction with our resilient hardwood panels, results in the 70% shock absorption rating associated with O’Mara Anti-Fatigue floors. With every step on an O’Mara Floor, energy is returned to the user.
The stability inherent in the wood panel surface of our floors means you can not sink into it. There is no need to stack one mat on top of the other as the support of this flooring system does not fail. No extra energy is required to step out of a depression in the floor, they don’t exist!
